Good afternoon I am having major troubles with a images and the formating when I export the report to excel.

I have a report that has a traffic light system. The Column displays a red light if threshold <40%, green light if >40 and so on.

Now in order to do this I have created three images as jpg and bmp (tried both with the same problems). That is all looks fine in the report preview but when I export to excel 2007 the traffic lights end up in the top right corner of the column, and over lap cells.

I have attached the before and after screen dumps.

Any help would be great as I have spent hours trying difference images.....

Hi Greg,

I am not excluding the possibility of a bug in the Excel renderer. Do you have SQL Server 2008 SP1 and the latest cummulative pack installed? If this doesn't help, try encosing the images in rectangles to see if you will get them to center align.

I am on this project using SQL Server 2005.

I will try the rectangle trick see if that works.

Thanks Teo
