I have a table tracking average temperature every minute for several locations over several months but I have a few questions with regards to setting up an aggregation table.

As I’m working with averages, I assume I’d need to sum up my values, count my observations, then divide one by the other seeing as there is no average option?.

Also, how would I define the level I want to aggregate to? For example, if I want to group my minute level observations up to a 15 minute level/hourly level – where can I define this? From what I can see, I can only group by a field (e.g. Time).

Can I just define all this in SQL server then import?

Best regards,
Adam

I don’t see how I can add a summarized table, what am I missing?

Thanks,

Eric
