Thanks for the clarification. I can say that apart from some manual config of Report Builder the other R2 features work fine with SharePoint 2007.

There is a separate download for the 2007 integration bits but once installed, use in multiple zones, connections to SharePoiint lists etc all seem to work fine.

Hi,

Sorry for not making this clearer but this applies to SharePoint 2010, R2, and Report Builder 3.0. With SharePoint 2010, the latest cummulative update pack configures ClickOnce automatically so you don't have to manually copy the folders, as I explained here https://prologika.com/CS/blogs/blog/archive/2009/02/25/report-builder-2-0-clickonce.aspx.

Hi Teo,

For me, this didn't work. In my case Reporting Services R2 is on a different server to the SharePoint 2007 web front end. The Open with Report Builder option went to URL http://sharepointserver/_vti_bin/ReportBuilder/ReportBuilder.application which would not open the correct version (or any version come to that).

I needed to copy the ReportBuilder folder from the Reporting Services server into an accessible location on the web front end then set up a custom launch URL as in previous version, except pointing to ReportBuilder_3_0_0_0.application.

Are you running a single server configuration?
